Asset register and inventory store for the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce

Thousands of assets spread across faculties brought into one register that can be searched and counted, with a loan history that stands up to an audit.

Implementation gallery

The university tracks assets and supplies across several buildings, with each faculty keeping its own register. The annual count meant merging files from many places, and some items had no clear owner.

Registering every asset with a barcode

Each item is registered with an asset code, a barcode and its owning faculty. Moving an item or changing who is responsible is recorded in the system, so the register always matches where things actually are.

Loans that can be audited

Equipment loans record the borrower, the date and the due date. The system flags anything still outstanding, so the property team follows up without calling every faculty in turn.

A shorter annual count

Counting runs on handheld devices, scanning one item at a time. Balances reconcile against the register in real time and items not yet found come out as a single report, which shortens the count and leaves a complete evidence trail.
